An Awakening For Maria

She sat in a seat at  the airport 

departure lounge deep in thought .

Her face looked innocent but underneath all  that show was a life of torment and trouble beyond what most people would ever have to experience .

She had seen the result of war and the cruelty of crimes against humanity . There was nothing anyone could say or do to change how she felt about people and life . She had two options to  deal with all the baggage from the past . She could bury it deep inside and pretend it never happened or she could seek justice and make those monsters pay or the things they did .

So many unspeakable memories that haunted her and everyday she tried to push them away but all the more they would return . 

Although it had been years since the war was over she  still remembered vividly all the things she wanted to forget and she forgot all the things that she needed to remember , like

the names of those men who had abused her and the names of the officers who ordered her husbands’s  execution to be and the names of the places where her children had been taken for

reallocation .

Maria was doing her best to remember all of the details but still there was something that was blocking all of those things from her memory .

She thirsted for justice and somehow it eluded her .

Psychiatrists had put it down to

the trauma she went through , they  suggested group therapy programs and grief counselling but that was unsuccessful .

As she looked for answers she began to find other alternative ways that might help her to unlock those traumatic events and bring the details of the important facts back into her memory again .

She was told by some spiritual advisors  that she needed to forgive those who did all

that harm to her before she could carry on living a normal life however the hurt was too deep and she could not bring herself to

forgive them .

She knew she needed to find justice first before she was anywhere close to forgiving them .

How could anyone ever compensate her for what  she had suffered ?

Who could give back the years she had spent living through the nightmare of what the war had done to her life .

She sat waiting for her flight to the Island where she was going to start a new program to help

her resolve issues that could bring a healing  of  memories through hypnosis offered by Doctor Brian Gallagher who had been a priest before he worked as a phycologist . Dr Gallagher was 

now able to provide new therapies in his clinic that used healing through hypnosis .

The program was called Healing The Past 

Maria had signed up for several sessions of deep hypnosis that would  take her through tunnels and pathways in her mind to unlocking doorways between the past and present .

This new experiment had already achieved success with people like Maria who had been through traumatic experiences and as a result were having trouble remembering important details from their past .

Maria was looking forward to spending a few weeks on the island with Doctor Gallagher and his team .  She hoped this would be the answer to all of the questions she had in her life and bring about a solution to her memory loss .

The departure lounge was now overspilling with people and all the passengers were waiting to board the plane .

The voice on the overhead speakers gave instructions for commencing boarding and shorting afterwards Maria was seated on the plane .

Living with post traumatic stress was never easy especially in crowded spaces as during the war Maria had been kept inside a small cell in a prison camp and was often abused by the guards who treated her as a slave .

The only times she’s allowed out of the cell was to cook and clean for the guards . There was barely enough room in her cell for her to lie down . It was cold and damp

and had no lighting so she never saw sunlight during her incarceration .

During the flight she was thinking 

about those times and  hoped that the Healing The Past program on the island would help

her forget all of what she’d been through .

After the plane landed she was welcomed by Doctor Gallaghers staff  who brought her from the airport to the clinic which looked more like a holiday resort than a clinical setting .  

She was immediately brought in for her first hypnosis session .

In a deep hypnotic state something important was discovered . Without her knowing 

during her time in the prison Maria was drugged and was put through a brainwashing process in the prison . The deep sleep program was put in place by evil doctors at the prison to protect officers and guards . Anyone who went through that program would never be able to remember information about people and places . Maria had previously  brainwashed to forget the details of those who were behind the atrocious acts the camp .

Finally now the reason behind her memory loss had  surfaced .

This was like an epiphany for her and slowly  light was brought into the darkness of the past .

During the next series of deep  hypnosis she was able to recall peoples names , dates , places , 

and even institutions where her children had been taken .

Doctor Gallagher and his staff made notes off everything Maria had  remembered while she revisited the past in a deep hypnotic state .

Doors that had been closed in her past were now opening up and information was brought through into the present .

Each time Maria returned from

her hypnotic trance she felt a healing process within .

When it was time for her to leave the island Maria was a changed woman . Now she had all the information she needed and was ready to seek the justice she hungered for and so began her mission to hunt down those cruel men one by one and make them pay for their crimes against humanity .

With the information provided by Doctor Gallagher and his specialists she approached a organisation who tracked down war criminals . They in turn had a field day when she handed over a list of the names of officers and guards who were in charge at the prison camp . They were rounded up and after intense interrogation they confessed to their crimes One by one they were charged and brought before an international court to be sentenced .

With the help of some other international organisation’s Maria was able to be reunited with her children . It took some time but Maria and her children were compensated for the crimes committed and after awhile they were able to forget and forgive and only then were they able to find true healing in her lives  .

Those who were guilty of the crimes would spend the rest of their lives in prison .

 

The deep sleep program that was used to brainwash people like Maria was exposed and named and shamed as a cruel mind controlling device that the world would never see again .

Every government of every nation signed an agreement to ban the deep sleep brainwashing process and it was never to be used again .
