To Discover The Light

Some people live in darkness and think its ok .
I have thought about asking God to place a light switch inside those
people so that I could reach into their life and find that switch and
turn it on .
Then I could make them see who they are in a new light .
The way God sees us is different to how we see ourselves and to how
others see us .
God looks from beyond this world and he knows who we are .
I believe if God could show others to us exactly how he sees them then
we could all live together in harmony here in this world .

Life would be a beautiful experience .

I think God has purposely placed things before us so we can try to work
out our problems in this life . Here on Earth we must learn to help
each other with our hunger and poverty .
We must stop wars and be a peaceful human race if we want to live in
his light one day .

Sadly we have to look at others through our imperfect humanity and
somehow try to
See the good in all . If only people could understand that God loves
everyone no matter what we think of them God loves them .
There is no one that God cannot love .
All are equal in his sight .

So what can we do with our fears ?
We can learn to trust each other .
How can we trust each other ?
We need to find truth in our own lives and pass it on to those who live
with doubts .
We need to show that we are able to reach out and be friends .
What can we do to love one another like God loves us ?
We need to find that light switch in others and turn it on .

We must not get confused and begin to think that we are in control of
God .
Like using a telephone whenever we need to order something .

Some people think that God is a supernatural light switch and when
things go dark and gloomy all you have to do is turn on the God switch
and everything will be all right . This is untrue . God knows our every
need without us having to ask .

Once I was in need and I prayed for God to help me with a long standing
debt .
After a while I though God had not heard my prayers .
I had to assume it was the will of God not to say yes to my prayer
request .
Then I realized that God can say no and for what ever the reason I had
to accept that and carry on loving God with all my heart and all my
soul .
I found a disappointment in my heart because God had not come to assist
me .
Each day I though about my debt to this person and it weighed heavy
upon me .
The after letting it all go I heard God speak to my heart .
I understood that the reason God did not provide me with assistance was
a barrier I had placed between us . This obstacle was money .
You cannot serve two masters .
For you will hate the first and love the second or love the first and
hate the second .
It was not a prayer I had placed at Gods front door but rather an
obstacle between
His love and myself .

When things went wrong for me and I found myself in great need people
often asked me why I still loved God ?
I thought about that and came to the understanding that it was not God
who punished me and laughed when I was hurting inside . No not at all
because I know that God loves me for who I am and God can only love
.
It is impossible for God to do any thing else other than love .
With that thought I was able to turn on the light switch and I could
see who was standing in the darkness . It was not the love of God I saw
but rather the evil one who rejoiced when things went wrong for me . It
was the evil one who persecuted me and tormented me in the darkness
without the light of God to show the way out .

I discovered the light and saw where I was at .
With the light I found the way and the truth set me free .

If you are in darkness and you want to be set free there is a switch
inside you
I wish that I could turn it on for you so you can see how much God
loves you and with his love nothing else will ever stand in your way
again .
Once you see the way ahead the rest is easy .
