Give Me Peace

I want nothing from you or from anyone ,

not a word to be heard at all

Just give me peace that’s all I need ,

only peace of mind and let peace around me fall.

In this place and in this time here,

leave me as I am with my peace of mind and then

when its time to go when tomorrow comes

I will sing forever amen/

Give men peace , that’s all I ask

nothing more and nothing less

that’s all I want from you ,

I have sought what can’t be bought

with no thought of anything else  between me and you   .

As I grow old in my heart and soul

may peace flow with no  sound

like a gentle hum of a song

that’s forever sung from the angels that I have found

in the place where I am bound .

Only peace my love that will not grow old

and forever young in that place I’ll be

to live in peace and harmony

with the angels in heaven there eternally.
