Humanities Unkind
By Paul McCann
The wind roars like a mighty lion around the Southbank side.
It cuts like steel the scars won’t heal deep on the inside.
Humanities unkind that’s what I find .
Humanities unkind roars like a mighty lion .
Those unkind words that have been said,
keep running through my head night and day,
wish they would go away.
Humanities unkind .
The cold wind blows on the morning tide.
Deep down in my heart I hide away .
Humanities unkind .
Isn’t it a shame no one wants to take the blame .
Its the same, its always the same .
Humanities unkind . Humanities unkind .
Cut these mortal strands from me ,
Humanity I can no longer be .
Humanities unkind .
