Level 13

Evie and Stevie were on their way to a live concert in the city . Eve had booked parking for their car in Compu-Park Station , the brand-new multi-level super state of the art , underground city car park . The station had 12 levels each with their own  global theme that featured artwork on the walls and roof . Background music was played  night and day as well as other audio dynamic features with sounds of nature and the elements  of life with whistling winds , thunderous claps , waves crashing pelting rain , swirling storms . Other sounds included a mix of animal calls , birds and ocean life as well as computerised electronic sounds that added a sense of mystic and wonder to the experience of Compu- Park , the futuristic car park from the other side of life . They said it was more than a car park it was more of an adventure for all.  

Who would come there .

Admission to the car park was made after entering the 16-digit sequence of numbers that were given to you when you paid for the booking .

The coded sequence of numbers was unique to each person who entered .

Everything was controlled by computers , the booking , the allocation of spaces and the time sequences for the duration of the stay . As soon as each car entered the underground carpark , there were verbal instructions given on your cars Bluetooth system directing you to the allotted car space for your vehicle .

 

Evie and Stevie had made their way through the city streets to the main entrance of  Compu-Park and began entering the 16 digits on the keypad at the Boom gate .

The Boom gate opened which allowed them to make their way to a roller  door which automatically welcomed them by name and opened up . They were level one which was called the African Zone . The sounds of jungle animals echoed all around the walls . There were statues and artworks of animals and tribes as well as digital landscapes displays . It almost felt like the real thing . Level two was An Arctic Zone and various other global themes continued of the 12 levels .

When Stevie and Evie reached level 12, they were instructed to go to Level 13  ,

Evie double checked the instructions on their booking and said ,

“ Mm that’s strange .  I thought there were only 12 stations in this place Stevie  “

Stevie replied ,

“Maybe they’ve added another one because of its popularity . “

“They drove around and around looking for level 13 . Then two sliding doors opened upon a Cosmic feature wall allowing them to enter into Level 13 .

Once they were inside the doors closed and  the car was placed inside a life that took them downward at speed . When the lift doors opened there car was placed on to a train carriage that propelled them along a track at speed . When they came to a stop a ramp on the train carriage allowed them to disembark .

Stevie drove the car off the train and Evie said ,

“Where on earth are we ?”

 

They both looked around at the barren landscape .

Apart from the rocks and sand there were some homes that looked battered and tattered . They seemed to be  derelict or abandoned . Some of them had no roof while others no windows or doors . Not a sign of life was seen anywhere ,

“Evie where

Stevie repeated what Evie said,

“Where on earth are we ?”

None  of them spoke they just sat looking out the windows of the car .. They were both confused  and bewildered . Stevie had no idea of what to do or where to go . Evie just said

“I don’t like this place Stevie just keep on driving “

It started to get dark and some strange sounds echoed all around them .

Suddenly he saw a freestanding awning ahead and he drove the car there.

Underneath the awning there were wooden crates and some equipment ,

They were marked - Level 13 – Pregnation Vials   .

“ What is this place ?”

Evie said in a freaky voice .

Stevie just shook his head “

Then in the dark some spotlights cut through the darkness from an approaching vehicle .

“Do you see that ?”

Evie screamed .

“ Yeah . Where did he come from ?

A voice from a speaker box on vehicle commanded. 

“ Get out of the car and put your hands over your head .“

 “ Go Stevie , get us out of here “

Evie screamed .

He started up the car and drove away at speed with the other  vehicle giving  chase .

Stevie continued to drive  not 

aware of where he was going.

The pursuing vehicle with its  lights flashing was getting closer  . It tried to ram into the back of Stevie’s car but just as it was about to hit , an unknown force prevented it from colliding and it came to a sudden stop allowing Stevie’s and Evie to getaway .

“ What was that ?”

Stevie screamed 

“I’ve no idea. Let’s just look for a way to get out of this place “

Evie said .

They came to a tall fence and found a gate . Steve got out of the car and opened it up . When he closed the gate behind him there was a sign .

“Level 13 . Out of bounds  “

On the other side of the gate there was a sealed road . Stevie drove along the road looking for an exit .  A truck came towards them with high beams blinding them .

Just before the truck slammed into them , an unseen force pushed the truck away  from them preventing serious or even fatal injuries  .

The truck started to sway left and right before rolling over and bursting into flames .

Stevie and Evie were shaking in fear but glad to be still alive .

“ Did you see that  . I don’t know where we are or what’s going on but we are being protected.  “

Stevie Said .

Evie opened the door of the car and walked around checking the car . 

Then she said.

“ Stevie , whatever is going on , I think you’re right . We must have angels protecting us . So, I’m sure we’re here for a reason . Let’s just take it all in and be aware of everything we see . In the process we will have to find a way out of this place “

 

During the night they came to a town with homes and shops . There was a school , and sports grounds . The saw what looked like a hospital but on closer inspection they saw the sign . Experimental Birth Facility .

 

Stevie and Evie heard the noise of some vehicles approaching that  were getting closer so they drove off the road and parked in behind some bushes keeping out of sight . Several cars made their way down the road and in through the gates of the Experimental Birth Facility .

Stevie and Evie couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw in the convoy an alien spaceship sitting up on the back of a truck . Then even more of a surprise they watched on in wonder as all of the occupants in the vehicles got out and went inside the facility . Apart from those in handcuffs and ankle bracelets 

all of them were aliens . Their prisoners were humans .

 Before the gates closed Stevie and Evie managed to enter the grounds undetected . They eagerly wanted to see what was going on in this place .

Some of the windows were curtains were open and what they saw was mind blowing .

Humans were being used as guinea pigs in an attempt to breed with their own species . 

Stevie and Evie continued to look on and then they saw the horrific results of what had been produced by the aliens . These strange, deformed beings , half human and half alien were speaking in a human voice with another weird sound coming and going at intervals .Large google eyes popping out from their oval shaped faces . Tentacles around their mouths , long finger and toes , disjointed elbows and knees and weblike feet . Then they watched as the aliens fed their human captives who were locked in cages that were strung up on pulley lines along the ceilings inside the facility .

The most horrifying discovery was the end result of this mixed breeding process as they were all being placed inside the spacecraft for transporting back. to wherever they came from . This alien human trafficking was a big business and as weird and as strange as it was Stevie and Evie realised that for whatever reason they were given the opportunity to see it and make the human race aware of what was happening in level 13 .

After the last of the alien bred species were placed on the spacecraft, the door was closed and it was taken away by the truck , As the gates of the facility were reopened Stevie and Evie had thew chance to return to their car . But as they did they were seen by one of the aliens who raised the alarm .

Stevie and Evie got into their car and made a speedy getaway , some  of the aliens gave chase  . Each time they got close something prevented them from being captured .

As daylight arrived Stevie continued to head along the road , around each bend , until they came to a bridge . On the other side of the bridge a gate started to open. Stevie drove through and on the other side of the bridge there was a tunnel . Stevie made his way into the tunnel them up ramp then along to a roller door marked level 12 that opened up when Stevie approached . Once they were on the other side of the roller door it closed up . There was a half-light all around them with coloured clouds on the roof of the car park being displayed and peaceful ambient sounds being played through speakers around the walls . In the car stereo system, a voice said.

 

“Hi Stevie and Evie , welcome to Compu- Park level 12 . Enjoy your concert and remember your zone here at Compu- Park . You are in the Twilight Time Zone where time is  were at “Enjoy your concert and remember your zone here at Compu- Park .

You are in the Twilight Zone where your car will be kept safe until your return. ‘

Instructions on the car radio were given to them about where they had to park the car . Once they parked the car they sat for a while taking in everything that had just happened .

Did we really see what we think we saw ?”

Evie asked ,

“ I’m positively certain we both saw the same things . Now we have a mission to tell the world about Level 13 and what’s going on “

 

No matter how hard they tried no one believed them . There were many sceptics and unbelievers in their story . Investigations to find level 13 were never successful . The case was closed and Level 13 was recorded as unknown and it was never mentioned again .

After many reports of strange activity and weird sightings within Compu- Park  some people hinted that maybe there was some truth about level 13 .

When hundreds of cars had been left abandoned by their owners around the car park and the owners had become missing persons . The city council decided to  permanently close Compu- Park .

After being ridiculed and called nutcases Stevie and Evie became recluses living in an underground bunker they had built . In the years that followed various wreckages of unknown crafts were discovered by deep sea drones showing images of strange skeletal shapes and figures on board which left many questions unanswered . A few of the sunken wrecks had the marking Level 13 on its outer casing .

Stevie and Evie continued to make videos and broadcast information about level 13 on their social media platform , Their messages about the experimental birth program was starting to get a lot of interest and soon became viral . Some other people begam to channel out talks and theories about what aliens were doing with members of the human race .

 

The End
