To Loose It All And Get Back More

I once had a wife ,  beautiful children  ,

good friends and money and a happy home .

Just like that everything I had was gone

and I was left in a world on my own  

 

For those of us who lost everything they had ,

and felt a hurt of the deepest pain

 Its difficult for anyone else to know how

it feels to fall in love again .

 

I have found a very special woman

who brought me something that’s well worth waiting for,

Sometimes you have to loose it all  

before you can get back more that you had before

"Sometimes you have to loose it all before you can get back more that you had before". I thought these lines summed up the poem perfectly, and as someone who also lost everything but then found everything I can relate to this.
