Lord Fill The Hole

I looked up at the sky and the sun was gone

and an icy wind cut the sky in two .

Lord fill the hole where the sun once shone

and let the light of hope come shining through .

There are no more flowers and butterflies,

In the gardens that I used to know.

Lord fill the hole in the empty sky

for dark shadows are everywhere I go .

  Lord fill that hole that nothing can else can do

 the only hope in life I have is you.

 Lord fill the hole and help me live again ,

heal me and help me through the pain.

 I close my eyes and turn away

Then I think of you and silently  I pray.

Lord fill the hole in my heart today

because tomorrow is much too far away.

The moon above my head shines on the ocean deep

as the wild wind chases in the tide .

Lord fill the hole deep in my soul

 where my feelings sometimes try to hide.

  Lord fill that hole that nothing can else can do

 the only hope in life I have is you.

 Lord fill the hole and help me live again ,

heal me and help me through the pain.

Grief can be such a slow release ,

they say it takes a lot of time to leave.

Lord fill the hole in tomorrows pain

 so there will be no time there to grieve .
