Mother of the new day

be there when I wake up

and in the new day

let me see the sun shine in the sky above .

Mother of the new day

fill my ears with peaceful  sounds

and as the song of life begins to play

fill my heart with love .

 Mother of the new day

Let me see freedom in a breeze 

passing through the trees

with the fresh breath of the morning air .

Mother of the new day

Lift my thoughts above

to appreciate everything that has been

given for me to share .

Mother of the new day

help me to walk and talk

on the spiritual path that leads me

to the truth that never lies  .

Mother of the new day

let me find the strength

to carry on and when I’m feeling down give me

‘the courage to rise ,
