Walking in the sunshine my friends they come and play

But when it gets dark they all go away .

Abraham I understand what you tried to say .

A good friend in the hard times will never go away .

Stay won’t you stay and be my friend ,

Standing in the corner with no one by my side

Looking for a reason why they like to run and hide

even if I found one at the end of the day

It really wouldn’t matter much or change things anyway .

Loneliness is a darkness, help me Lord I pray.

For you are my one true friend and I know you will stay .

When everyone has gone you help me carry on

Through the dark night of my soul

You bring me the light of the day.
