Speak

A token is a mall price to pay ,

but for some there is no change everyday.

They never agree withs the things that they see

and refuse to hear the truth in what you say .

Speak to the earth , speak to the sky ,

speak to the wind that’s passing by ,

speak to hearts that are broken ,

so they know that love has spoken

and speak to the living before its time to die.

I was broken but you fixed me up again .

The pieces of my life you rearranged ,

now everyday there’s peace of mind

and I know that love is kind

and that’s something that no one can change .

Speak to the Arab and the Jew ,

speak to the Muslim and Hindu..

Speak to the people in control ,

speak to the depths of their soul .
Speak to the hearts of the people who love you .

You’ve spoken through the prophets of time ,

in words you have given us a sign.

Lord open up the ear

of those who cannot hear

and speak to the ignorance that you find .

Speak to the heads of Governments ,

speak to higher intelligence

Speak to those who are discerning ,

speak to the courts and seats of learning .

Speak with your voice , that has been heaven sent

Reach out , Its time to speak ,

its time to teach , its time to speak.
