Spiritual Sanctuary

When the flowers grow on the snow on the ground

When it rains in the desert sun .

When all of the lakes and seas have run dry

in a future world to come .

When all the soil has been toiled and spoiled

and a  new kind of harvest has come,

well you’ll find much more than ever before

in a spiritual sanctuary .

Heaven can be so near

when the dark night is over and the morning comes .

We’ll soon be here in our spiritual sanctuary.

Deep inside where the future can’t hide

there are so many things to become .

Like the peace and love that we all want to share

In our spiritual sanctuary.

There’s a door with a welcome to come in

when the day is nearly done .

So stay until the new day comes and rest

 my gentle one .

Heaven can be so near
