Thank God For Christmas

An Angel called Gabriel came to Nazareth one day

with a message for the Virgin and the Angel

he did say .

Don’t be afraid, for God
has made a favour for you alone ,

a son you’ll bear and
the Lord God will give to him the throne .

Thank you God for Marys child

and everything you’ve done ,

angles sing their voices ring to Jesus Christ your son .

Angels brought a message to the Shepherds and wise men

and the Angels were welcome on the streets of Bethlehem

The Truth was heard and Joy was shared

of a child who would become

The Good shepherd , The King of kings

and the saviour for everyone .

Thank you God for everything

and your presence here with us ,

the gift you gave and all you’ve saved ,

praise and bless the name Jesus .

The light of hope shone down on a place called Bethlehem

Angels came and watched over them

who were gathered there that night

And the Angels sang of a beautiful thing

that would bring an end to fear’

Good morning world , Jesus came

and Christmas day was here .

Thank you God for Christmas time

and everything you bring

peace and love hope and joy

in Christ the new born King .

Sing happy ,

happy Christmas ,

its a special time of the year .
