For Those Who Are Left Behind

Its 2025 and the lowest wage is 24 dollars an hour which works out to be just over $900 for a 38-hour week . The median weekly rent of a house is $600 a week while the average grocery bill for a family of 4 is around $350 a week .

Food products are escalating each week and some food products are leaping upwards of a dollar each week .  Electricity and gas bills range between $170 to over $300 a month . The cost of education for children needs to be with consideration to private or government streams . Take into account school uniforms and sporting  clothing and then there are school excursions and other activities that are extra costs  that need to be paid . Entertainment and transport along with other everyday costs of life we need to pay .

In short, the price of living is killing us all and the cry off the workers is never heard .

It’s about time now for a miracle to happen in order that ears and eyes might be opened  so that changes can be made .

For many who are working for a minimum wage and trying to survive , the struggle of meeting the costs to provide shelter and food for the family has driven many into debt using credit cards to pay for basic everyday needs and borrowing from banks and other money lenders to but higher price items, like cars and little comforts for the home .  

The collection of debts incurred can result in repossession of goods and even in garnishing of wages . The debts are growing ; the poor are getting poorer and getting left behind in a world that refuses to reach out and help . The gloom and doom is everywhere and in some cases the faith of many in a fair society has gone to the dogs . The working class poor have become modern day lepers in high society who scorn and look down on them and say ‘

“Oh look at him or that poor girl who can never be right . How disgusting they are “

I mean how low can they go can’t they see in their eyes the shame of what they think and say . Even a leper has a heart that beats and cares about others . Maybe the greedy and powerful are the real lepers of the world we live in who have become so corrupt as they just walk away and leave all those who need help .

Pity for them because their actions can find no place to hide except for the glass palaces where they think they are safe in a fragile sanctuary with plastic flowers that never grow and no one will know who they really are .

They have never seen the tears that the workers have cried everyday trying to provide for their loved ones . Maybe some day when the tables are turned and the  efforts of those who work honestly have been toiled and heaven is near , they will understand the things they have done and them they will become the lepers in another life looking for justice in a place where they will never be happy .

Today for all those who suffer and live with need , they have already found a sanctuary where peace had left them hope for better days ahead . That new day will surely come when the reign of the greedy and mighty fall into dust in the dawn of a new day when justice will fall and the sun will shine again for one and all .

Today many people in need are turning to inventive ways of making change to reduce their expenses by growing their own vegetables and herbs or working longer hours even finding another job and doing extra work however the loss of sleep and nutrition often can result in creating health issues to those working without rest and food . Then there are miracles that happen to restore our faith and trust in people . Kindness can be found in the charitable giving of family and friends ,

These are the lifelines that are thrown down when poverty and suffering become dangerous weapons that can result in loss of self-esteem and even life .The rope of hope that is thrown down allows many to scale back up and grab on to the pulley system of life that brings us back to the streets to survive and walk on with  life again . In these hard times we either grow or wither , succeed or fail , resign or continue , donate or beg ,

It’s also a time of reflection finding what really matters most to us . In this garden of life good seeds need to be planted and frequent watering and care given in order for the fruits can be seen  .There are many pathways around the small gardens where we can make changes and bring hope in a mission to make the worlds a better place .The workers of today need time to see the beauty of life and for others to acknowledge what they are doing to earn their  pay . The workers of today are leading the way for other generations to follow .

Their smiles need to be seen again when they go to work all day , their stress needs to be eased and they need to find more time to rest and have time with their families so that life can have a little harmony again . Workers today need to find the strength when they are tired , recovery form their injuries so they can continue in the jobs they do . Workers today are working too hard and they often feel over powered with all the demands that is being put on them . Workers today need more help and recognition from their colleagues and employers who have the ability to make the workplace a safer place and a happier place for all women and men . Workers today need to slow down from the frantic pace that is asked of them to do the jobs they have top do . They need to feel human again in industries and not be treated like   machines . Workers today need to go home at the end of the day and shut the door to their work commitments and relax in their homes with their families .Workers today need to see the beauty of life surrounding them and they need to find people who agree with them . Too many of our older men and women have to work even harder than they did when they were young and they need more time to recover .Too many workers are being grinded into dust by unjust employers who are drinking their fine wines from fancy cups that they bought with the money the workers sweated and bled for . Its time for them to remembering those who are crying out to be heard and not run away  and try to hide . They need to listen and hear the echoes that are running through their marble halls , They cannot continue to shut the door and pretend everything will go away . Its time for them to pass the cup and share their wealth 

The governments need to introduced programs that can be useful for those who have been left behind in poverty , Programs such as WTF - Working Together Farming or STOW - Sharing Together Our Wealth . The work that has to be done is a huge take and the labourers are few but one day the cry of the workers will be heard in a fair society that begins to pick up those who have been left behind .Now is the time for us all to look at what we can do before it’s too late .Working for an honest wage should be what we all deserve .

When those who are making money dishonestly comes to an end and their reign of greed and selfishness is over only then will the cry of the workers be truly heard in an era of kindness and justice for all .

Farmers who can provide enough good crops for the world’s population without being manipulated and controlled by crooked corporations and workers who can again take pride in what they and feel appreciated by those who they work for and not to be treated like slaves and driven in to the ground like beasts of burden . Then for once workers can respect their employers and feel human instead of like a robot or a machine . The workers of today need to have someone to turn to who will listen to them instead of throwing them into works sheds and factories like prisoners in detention . Where has it all gone wrong and why did it have to get this far before the cries of the poor working class can be heard .

Who is to blame for creating this crying game , was it the governments we elected who filled their own pockets with wealth instead of doing what they should have dome for all those in need , the aged and the sick and all those who lost hope on the way and got left behind .Where are the programs that we need to put in place , to build bridges of hope between the rich and the poor . When can the communication begin to resolve and check the issues that have created a plastic economy for a plastic society who forgot what life all is about . These are the questions that need to be answered now .Look at what’s happening and let us begin to stop and listen for once to the cry of the workers and start to pick up all those who have been left behind ,
