he Wandering Minstrel
By Paul McCann
took the road out of Rosslare with my guitar and songs to share ,
Sung on the corners , made Cork my home .
Took some time to get to Athlone .
I go just where I please , I’m blowing like a breeze .
If people can hear me play, it makes me happy everyday .
I crossed the border and had a jar .
Went into Belfast and played in a bar .
The through the Glens to Ballycastle where people welcomed the wandering minstrel .
I go just where I please , I’m blowing like a breeze .
If people can hear me play, it makes me happy everyday .
I’ve been a wandering it seems so long with a six string and my songs .
I’m I’m free to wander , free to roam making music on my own .
I go just where I please , I’m blowing like a breeze .
If people can hear me play, it makes me happy everyday .
