(based on a painting by Paul Klee; also on Paris Hilton)
She never meant to do it
Never meant to be touched by fame
But it reached out to her
And she wasn't intelligent enough to turn it down.
Now, when she walks, Devils follow
Stealing her soul one photo at a time.
Fingers, cameras, headlines point out her inadequacies
Her bird-like friends peck out her eyes
Then sell her life to all who care.
Just a blank canvass, painted prettily
Nobody sees the wall behind
And even fewer care.
