Why does mental health hold such a stigma?

That to me is such an enigma

Because when people do speak out

Depression and anxiety it is all about

What about the other people who suffer?

Behind their backs do people snigger and mutter?

Mental health is a quintessential part of me

For I happen to suffer from BPD

Yes it is very debilitating

For I am patiently awaiting

For people to be more accepting

When I tell them me they start rejecting

There is an infinitesimal part of me

Who hopes one day there will be

And end to all this stigma fiasco

And let all of us sufferers know

That elucidate they don’t have to do

For they are me and maybe you too.
