MIDDLE-AGED DIRTBAG
A dirty weekend away,
In paradise purgatory,
The spirit is spilling,
But the body is sleek,
my eyesight is poor,
Or I choose not to see,
The untanned band,
On ring finger,
The lights are low,
And the wine, fine,
Satin sheets to soak,
The stains away,
Gorge on food,
On wine,on woman,
Party like there's partytime,
And explain it all,
As the exception ,
The slip,
The indiscretion,
Not my fault,
Extenuating circumstances,
Hasn't happened before,
Well not,
Quite like this,
Won't happen again,
You can be sure,
Liar, liar,
Pants on fire,
Which would matter,
Were thy on.
