Why do they use their skilll
to attack, hack?
Is is greed, or thrill?
Do they realise the pain, the ill
they cause
and the good that they could
do with their abilities,
facilities?

Quite a few of them do go on to use their skills in a good way Rhiannon. There was a really interesting history of hackers on Radio 4 - here:

Thanks for the link. It's so good if some can grab, especially the youngsters and direct them into the far greater thrill, and satisfaction of positive contribution appreciated. Rh

Impressive abilities, some of our youngsters. If their skills aren't directed towards rewarding projects they might stray into mischievous pursuits, it's empowering. Some hackers have received harsher punishments than very violent and sick offenders which I do not agree with, especially if the hackers have autism.

It's good if some can so direct, isn't it? Of course some do need to see the financial anguish they have caused, but punishments often don't reflect direction to change. So many, especially the elderly need computing help.

There is also the problem of telephone scamming and tirckery and the anguish caused. Rhiannon
