Tiny ‘Townhall Clock’:
pale, slight and delicate,
each face a duplicate, –
miniature so rarely seen,
dainty structure, tender green,
flowers arranged on slender stalk
(crushed by many a rambler’s walk)
– one looks south and one looks north
(Maker’s skill displaying forth),
one looks east and one looks west
(little things show beauty best),
fifth face faces up to me:
Moschatel – delight to see!

True for all of us, I guess ScoZen! We can learn from the big things and the small, but can't look at both all the time! But I appreciated having my attention drawn to the detail of this tiny flower.

thank you, Jean, glad you thought so. Recently we were in a fascinating little 'water garden' - retirment project of a water engineer, and as I bent down to check on a marked flower, I suddenly realised that this little plant had been planted as ground cover, hardly noticed until you bent down. Then he strolled up and we had a little chat about it! Rhiannon
