Omega the proud purple zebra
stepped off the ark one day.
Omega the proud purple zebra
was VERY proud you’d say!
He was proud of his stripes,
he was proud of his tail,
and proud of his perky mane.
Of all the animals on Noah’s ark
there was no one quite so vain.
Ga-Zoom!
A great glittering whirl of green knocked Omega off his feet.
Ga-zoom!
A great glittering whirl of green landed Omega on his seat!
ALPHA! he cried. You silly bumbling ‘gator.
Why can’t you be just like me?
With purple stripes and walk just right,
I’m so perfect can’t you see?
Omega’s bark reached Noah’s ark,
they all came out to see.
And Noah said God made us ALL
each one perfect as can be.
Just then, God above looked down with love and said…
Some animals I made big
some I made small
others I made short
and some I made tall
I made you all different
every special kind, you do see
I made you all so different
but you’re very perfect to me.
