Bronte Park

By Richard L. Provencher

White sails mark
a cloud-speckled sky,
tanned ladies

reflecting
the good life

as powerboats skim
glassy waves.

Strollers surround the
pier, smiling at
fishermen who hunger
for a strike and

seagulls dot the sky
with their raucous
shrieks.

All is well.
