The Chickadee

By Richard L. Provencher

Tue, 21 Aug 2012
  • 558 reads

The Chickadee flits and
flops from one branch to another
no cares to wear him down
doesn’t matter what speed he shares
or friends he has

these days he’s just a feathery
bird that flits and flops
from one branch to another
until he reaches a feeder and feasts.
