is a blessing – not always

do the sparks

hang around your heart

like times before

but sufficient is a look

a touch

and words that carouse

across the destiny

of your mind.

Thank you very much, editors, for the cherries -- so plump and juicy, eh? I wrote this poem for my wife, Esther. We will celebrate 44 years of precious marriage, on March 27, 2019.
