The Given Pain

I love you.
But I despise what you’ve done.
And you do not think that you’ve hurt anyone.
But I've been hurt
Because it harmed you.
I truly hate some of the things that you do.
You have a place in the depth of my heart.
Where from the inside your actions slash it apart.
From a whole to pieces that separate slowly.
My fractured heart aches, so I wish to be lonely.
If only I wasn’t bound by connection, affection, your mental projection.
With tension, the carried pains and the thoughts all cause my dejection.
If only I stood up, not fearing rejection.
Maybe then I could teach you a lesson.
Steer you clear of the road to depression.
To do so would be not short of a mission.
Which will never take place shall I never mention.

Excellent poetry Sir! Poems in rhyme and rhythm often give you that rap feeling hey?!

not who you are, but what you do
Makes a lot of sense Sir Loin, 'I love You', just hate the (some) things you do". I think people who have kids would agree.
Sometimes especially, do Love you for what you do! Like now, today!
There is a lot of depth in this poem, something like "play the ball, not the man".
Hope you are well, and there is some new work soon! Tom
