Bye, Pig
Bront? sisters three, Holly, Ella and Sophie,
the classroom floor a sea, chair legs a forest
or perhaps thick hair on the back of their host.
Their language a slab of something sweet,
manufactured in their lab, they love to cram their mouths,
to let it drip, watch others choke. "Dippy-doo-dah-day,"
"coo-ee" through a pane of glass, "la-la-la-la dinosaur rah!"
as a chant, 'el-el-el-el piggy-school snort" a glazed,
crazed, nightingale rant, a secret badge;
and, in the vaccuum of peace after the stampede,
anonymous but signed, a sugared-sianara of magnetic print,
six rainbow letters on the board by the sink: "bye, pig".
