Was that day so fateful?
Yes - the day we met.
Life changed inevitably
hindsight may have helped!

Such a short time together -
who'd have guessed?
Left harbouring new life
my shape ever changing.

Time passed quickly -
another fateful day arrives,
that been dreaded for so long.
Control, once again fought over.
