Chapter 4: Time To Reflect

Tony looked in front of him. There was no bus this time. He found himself looking into the eyes of another person. He smiled for the tiniest moment as he realised he was looking at himself. A giant mirror? He examined his surroundings. Tony was in a tiny box room, with mirrors on all four walls, and certainly no door.
Why had he come here? Was he truly going insane, or was this real, this just couldn't be happening. He couldn't work out what was dream and not.
He was stunned as he actually looked at himself.
His once blond hair now looked almost grey, he was 16 and his hair was greying? He must have looked at least a decade older than he had just months ago, he looked like an old man he thought, at least, not him. Even his eyes looked so different. Tony had never been sure about the way he'd looked, but secretly, he'd always sort of liked his eyes. They looked sort of caring, and he remembered a time when he was; before he had his own problems, even though he may of thought he had.
Where Tony had been, any thoughts that your appearance mattered were forced out of you. There were more important matters. But now, even so soon, even with events, he couldn't help but feel embarrassed about the way he looked. He had went from Earth to Hell and was embarrassed. That place he had hated so much would have been paradise right now.
He wore the clothes he had arrived at camp in. It was amazing how dirty clothes could get lying god knows where for months without being worn.
Now he looked at himself Tony supposed maybe he was quite good looking at one point, but that time was long ago. What had happened to his life? He seemed to have fallen continuously since he'd killed Links. That night he'd lost control, but it WAS an accident, he'd been blamed so much he some times thought it was his fault, but he had to tell himself it was an accident. An accident.
What was with the mirror room? He continued to look round. Up. Everywhere. He had nowhere to go and he could feel it. Now he was also trapped physically as well.
Was he going insane? He felt it. He had to get out, but he couldn't, what if he was trapped for his whole life now? Did he even have a life anymore, he can't even tell what was happening to him, around him, he was trapped in some sort of warped fantasy world, accept this was no fantasy. Was it? Please say it could be.
There was a giant flash of light so bright it temporarily blinded him. He looked around, but he couldn't see anything, just whiteness. White everywhere. Consuming him. He felt himself falling to the ground, then the ground vanished, he felt it go.
He was floating in nothingness. A mirror appeared in front of him. He looked into the mirror, but he didn't see himself. He saw death.
He was thrown through the mirror as it shattered around him, but he wasn't hurt by the glass, it turned to water on contact. He heard warped laughing. The hobo's laughing. He could never forget it. The scowling sound of a cat. Continuing. The figures faded. The noise faded. The light faded. He returned to the eternal darkness both in sight and in his mind.
He wanted to die. He felt so trapped, so consumed, so weak. He had to get out. He didn't know how, he just wanted this all to end. For it all to just disappear. For things to go back to how they were. But he realised, it had been years since things had been truly OK. Now he didn't know where he was, what was happening, what he'd done.
What had he done?
He wished he'd never been born.
All of a sudden he realised he was back on the bus. His head had never been so sore in his life, and his vision seemed blurred, although improved slightly as he looked down. He was slumped down in his seat, and was covered in his own sick.
He jumped as the bus doors opened, and he looked up to see a rather posh looking woman get on. She wore a very old fashioned long floral dress, and a lot of jewellery, she was so thin Tony wondered how she could walk with what must have been tonnes of gold.
As he looked at her ferret like face he realised she was staring directly at him. As she moved further and further up the bus she continued to stare at him, uncaring he was now also staring back at her.
Tony began to shudder as she got closer and closer, he felt something about her presence he didn't like.
