the call of the ocean

The heat haze rises from the Surf as the waves come rolling in, sheets of water rolling on to glowing white sand and leisurely rolling back out again. Nothing is hurried this morning on the beach. Seagull’s flutter overhead taking turns to jet down and peck at the Ocean. The tide is building momentum larger waves come rolling thick and fast. Water collects into small pools around small weathered rock formations made smooth by centuries of erosion. The sound of the ocean, the call of the seagulls and the smell of the fresh sea air combine to make the most relaxing idyllic scene. Far from the artificial noises which make up the soundscape of the modern city. The sun beats down and seems to resonate with the Earth; incoming waves wash away the remnants of sandworm's trials. It seems all memories could be erased in a place like this where only the sun and the moon and the tides have any lasting influence.
