The Atom And Eve

“I give in Eve”, said the handsome, spandex-clad super hero called The Atom, descending from the blue, summer sky onto the top of a tall skyscraper, “You win. Your powers are too strong for me”.
“Powers?”, asked the green clad female superhero, getting up from her crouching position, “What do you mean? I haven’t done anything to you”.
“But surely you have?”, said the Atom, confused, “Whenever I’m in your presence, you’ve used your super power to numb my brain and make my heart palpitate and all of a sudden I get this funny desire to obey your will. I’ve tried to fight it but it’s no good. I’m just not strong enough”.
“Oh!”, said Eve, beaming broadly, her eyes glowing with a brilliant green light as she threw her arms around him, “I think you’re just in love with me the way, I must confess, I am with you”.
“Really? Do you think that’s what it is?”, asked The Atom.
“Well”, replied Eve, gazing deep into his piercing blue eyes, “There’s only one way to be sure”.
Suddenly, drawn together by an immense force that neither could resist, their lips met and there was a strange surge of power like electricity between them; the most wonderful, thrilling thing that either had ever felt.
“Oh no?!”, said The Atom, clutching his head and shaking, “I think I’m going to explode”.
“So am I”, said Eve, pulling him close again and pushing her lips back against his.
Down below, on the street, people saw fireworks shooting up from the top of a tower block. Little did they suspect that it was the fireworks of The Atom and Eve making love.
