The future may seem

But suddenly it’s near
and suddenly it's now and far away is here
and all the things you mean to do
are things you should have done
and that’s it; it’s all over
when you’ve only just begun.
Don’t give the
opportunity a chance to slip
away.
While you still can, with both your hands,
reach out and seize the day.

Thank you, Denni. I wanted to test wether it was possible to use the illusion of perspective in a poem as it's used in the visual arts and that's why the first line is arranged in an odd way. Glad you liked it.
