Spring is Here At Last

Chilly winter days are past.
The happy spring is here at last.
The sun that hid its head away
is spreading all its golden rays.
The birds are singing merrily
in every branch of every tree
and buds are bursting into bloom;
weaving a gown from life’s green loom.
The busy bees all buzz about
and butterflies start bursting out
from chrysalises, spreading wide
their multi-coloured wings with pride.
Then rabbit heads, from warrens, pop
and, round about, they start to hop;
mad hares begin their spring time fight
and stoats take off their coats of white.
And every creature is aware
that Spring is finally in the air;
that very happy season when
all life begins to live again.

Stunning, I really hope Spring will actually come soon. If not, I'll keep reading this poem.
