Three Cups Trick

There are 3 golden goblets in a horizontal row (a left goblet, a middle goblet and a right goblet) , each containing red wine.

Please place poison into 1 of them.

Now switch the poisoned goblet round with the goblet IMMEDIATELY NEXT to it.

Now switch it round with the goblet THAT HAS NOT YET BEEN MOVED.

I am now going to attempt to choose a goblet which does not have the poison in it.

The goblet that is now in the middle does not have the poison in it.
