Well really if the land is holy ground, or church land, the police should have the power to move the travellers off. If the law is not able to be enforced then it will be made a mockery of. Hopefully there are places the travellers are allowed to...

I doubt there are anything like enough policemen and women to police a firework ban. It would be quite ineffective, unless they stop the sale of them?

I enjoyed this and the style in which you write it. The natural debate which goes on in the hearts of modern christians when something like this happens! But maybe the congregation is just too easily pushed over?
