My Sick Little Monster

On most days my little monster wakes up bright and early.

He terrorizes from sunrise to sunset.

He breaks and throws.

Watch out he even stomps on toes.

Like a dragon he will destroy a castle.

His siblings he loves to hassle.

He covers the floor with every kitchen drawer and wears Tupperware as "Tougher Wear."

Putting on cooking mittens, to trap helpless kittens.

He stomps through the house with his big monster feet, growling at everyone he meets.

BUT

Today monster did not wake to destroy and cause a quake.

Because monsters, even the most scariest monsters of all.

Get sick.

Poor little monster is sick in bed with fever in his head.

FINALLY,
mommy gets a break.

But not to worry in a couple of days she predicts another earthquake.

This is really good, I like the idea and think that a child would enjoy reading it because of its continuous rhyme and humorous theme. However, just thought I'd mention that your spelling of "brake" is incorrect in this context, you should be using "break". But it's great, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!

Hello 1cotillion. Welcome to ABCTales.com. I'm sure you will be writing many more excellent stories. This story is good. Keep writing. If you wish to see how your children's story develops as a picture book, break it up into very short paragraph, keeping all your sentences. Then envision a picture to accompany the words. A picture book is simply two stories the same, one told through text, and the other through pictures. Remember a picture book, which I think would be a good fit for the above, can be any length. new 1cotillion yes welcome to Abc well done! my little monster ould get pictures grown up now I can identify with this though.and as Richard says he does also picture book. on my web; before heard of Abc I put all pictures beside each poem and story not mine! for web; comp; didnt' win but looked good. Like " on here "Shaggy the dog" as I made one similiar "The Penny Farthing Man" a penny farthing man on bycle.1p farthing bike. !"The Atmosphere"Fairy waving wand went on and of etc; hope all is and will go well for you, abc great bunch help ideas julie cavalcader!
