The cold water hits his face
snapping everything
back into focus,
he raises his eyes
and glances in the glass,
the mirror on the wall,
And he doesn't see
what everyone else sees
when they look at him,
he sees what he is inside,
black, poison,
he sees his true reflection,
the side of himself
that he'd rather hide,
so he creates another being,
another side of him
that he steps into
to get through the day,
and that way his real reflection,
can stay just that,
an image in glass.

Well earn't cherry! good
Really liked this
especially a reflection
in a mirror.
He sees his true reflection,
the side of himself
that he'd rather hide,
So he creates another being,
another side of him
that he steps into
to get through the day,
an that way his reflection,
Can stay just that,
an image in a glass
brill:reflections are deceiving.
