Just because I can

One day
hopefully not too far away
great things will happen
for us,
somewhere just over the horizon
is a sunrise so beautiful
that we'll forget
the hardships of the past,
there are white dresses waiting,
and my dodgy dancing,
a toast to us and our future.
There are babies bawling
and chances to nurture
a life,
there is a nice house
with a garden
thats just outside the city.
Lately that sunrise
has been in my minds forefront,
and it always brings
a smile to my face.
Gladly however,
even before that day comes,
I get to feel your warm embrace,
your soft lips,
I get to see you beautiful eyes,
and I get to say I Love you,
just because I can.
