The Suicide

Even though it was already night time, the vague figure of a little boy can be seen from a distance. His ashen face shone as the moonlight glared on him while he paced the quay. Then as the seconds passed, he vehemently pulled off his top clothes and threw them into the ocean. He looked down as his garments slowly become sodden and gradually sink under the sea. Continuing with the scheme that has been in his head hours ago, he meticulously tied up his own hands and bound them together. And with disdain, he cursed himself and hurled his own body into the water below. As he slowly went down into the abyss, his mind was suddenly filled with a recollection of all the arduous things he did, all the pain and conflict he had encountered. Nevertheless, these poignant memories were replaced with thoughts of moving on to a place of bliss, solace, and peace. Subsequently in a few moments, his irrevocable death came and left him lifeless beneath the salty waters – an escape from life he knew nothing of, fleeing to a deep, dark and lonely somewhere.
