And still the world turns.
And still the world turns. Tilts, to be precise. This is a feast of unexpected imagery and surprising new perspectives on things we know. Deeply sad but has a keen sense of restoration with it.

Even when not sleeping, there
Even when not sleeping, there isn't usually the energy to do anything very active or fulfilling, and the memories can fuel the desire to be having special moments or fulfilment. The barn-owl can't hunt much in the day, I guess, and we can't do much at night! Rhiannon

Time to contemplate, to
Time to contemplate, to reflect on what you see around you. I like your musings in this poem, giving us an insight into your train of thought.

Most of the stars are around
Most of the stars are around for billons of years... but even they 'end' at some point...
departures are sad, leave things empty for those still around, until they too leave, leaving things empty for those still around...
a moving poem, Tina...

Love the irony...
... that the pen you use to fill your loneliness, helps in its posted creation to fill our empty spaces ;-)
I watched "The Little Prince" movie version (about a third of the book overall) today and I picked up on the everything must pass and we shall say goodbye to everything in its time, and it is good, because we would take everything for granted if we didn't know it must be lost... Yet, I thank the Lord for HIS consistency and inability to be 'lost' or 'inconsistent' or 'not there', it is a comfort amongst the compulsory status of change for me, I must admit.
Just popped by to wish you a truly divine Christmas and a joyous set of moments amongst the tougher ones, where you can remind yourself that the tough moments are only there because of the divine moments ;) Well, as I see it anyway :)
So many cyber hugs coming at you and blessings for a glorious 2016 Tina xx
