We all behave like socialists towards those we love. The unfortunate thing is that we do not love everybody.

If you did then you would choose socialism as your preferred political system. So one thing would naturally lead to the other. I don't see how a person can develop a kind heart and an outward looking mind and still think a greedy, selfish, uncaring system, the kind that Tories advocate, is the right one.
