I am no one. Never nobody
What I fear is not here
It’s my heart, they say
That’s a start
When I look
I see the apparition
Someone that looks
Like me forced to his knees
Moved by vanity to stay
Not to understand the void
Not getting better
No fucking good
The wounds a gift
A pleasure I exist
Rune of mystery
A haunting of despair
Nobody can hold such beauty
And a hatred of the new
unless
you are present at your dying

It's a bit enigmatic for me
It's a bit enigmatic for me too on first go too but definitely worth the read, I was struck by the distinction you draw in the first line, no one not nobody.

I think that's what poems do.
I think that's what poems do. Instinctive not literal. It definitely gives the feeling of someone facing and not facing what we all have to face! See how I avoided saying it literally!!

Dark, interesting...
Dark and interesting. My perception is a Soul who does not want to go over/die from this world, as he/she is scared to death what his penalty will be...as he/she actions have been evil. (Probably wrong though) Then again Dorian Grey comes to mind. I like it! Thought provoking. Lots of interpretation's. Clever! Flows well. Mind blowing, but, good.

Not knowing what you're
Not knowing what you're talking about helps others to sort you out... maybe. I'm no poet, but enjoyed this.
