Dear Diary, I must record
that it was not a date
when I met Adrian Mole
who is just a good mate.
 
His age is thirteen and ¾
but he looks much older.
In his amorous intentions
he has become bolder.
 
It was entirely my fault,
and I make no excuse;
I acceded to his request
of becoming his Muse.
 
He is not a very good poet
and he writes soppy verse.
It was a very bad move
but it could've been worse.
 
I realised that on his part
it was merely a ruse
and had a libidinal intent.
To me that was no use.
 
Between us there's a chasm:
I am a committed socialist
and he is a middle class lad.
That's why we had to desist.
 
I will say more about that
and also of our last fight
but as it is getting late
this is rhe lot for tonight.

Switching Luigi and Adrian would be a remarkable feat as the former is 83 and 3/4 while the latter is only 13 and 3/4.
