thought that it was strange
when the passengers paid
then said, keep the change
for they hadn't left any tip
but a baby having a kip.

Hi Luigi,
Hi Luigi,
this can easily happen, I know because I left a baby in the window sill of a fitness class I was teaching, she was so quiet and I was so eager to get home, luckily I remembered and went back to pick her up, she was still sleeping peacefully unaware...thank goodness.
I like how you give this poem the Luigi rhythm and rhyme, it works well.

I had nearly 11 year gap
I had nearly 11 year gap between child 2 and 3, and I remember meeting my mother and daughter, and Mum saying, 'Where's the baby?' He was just a few yards away, but I'd left the shop without him, and another time one aisle as I went to another and for a few moments, was back in pre-new-baby mode. Rhiannon
