Back to Earth
By Ed Crane
How I miss those halcyon days sailing on Titan’s methane ocean.
Gazing up at the orange sky with the hazy disc of the sun lighting
the bow of my little water dinghy, the ice sparking to the motion.
The woven carbon dioxide sails flapping in the nitrogen breeze.
Heading toward the solid ammonia and ethane shore, beaching
on pebbly sand to view terracotta ice mountains and crystal trees.
