A few early wild daffodils in the woods

Trees above seem dead and dun;
fragile early wood wild daffodil
shines in March’s gentle sun,
dances in the frisky breeze.

It was lovely to read your
It was lovely to read your poem Rhiannon, with its touch of seasonal colour.
Although it's cold, our garden daffodils have been out for nearly two weeks, they look a bit forlorn at 7am, but soon lift their heads as the day progresses. I've even seen bees in the garden which is great news.
