The Mother Ship
By Paul McCann
There's nothing like a Mother to put the wind in your sails.
Every ounce of love is well over weight upon the scales..
The lullaby’s and stories are like bracelets full of charms ,
the bonding time that comes when feeding the child in her arms.
Its bottled up in formulas and heard with every burp,
In all the sips from little lips there comes a gentle slurp .
The sheep that were never counted as nights oof sleep were lost.
The sacrifices gladly given without any cost .
There is no end to the love, its all the way down the line .
On board the Mother ship for the journey of a lifetime.

Oh
...so gentle and lovely, harking to lyricism of your land.
Have you ever recorded your songs and if so, where can we hear them?
A few small typos, know you'll sort it in good time.
Best
