Lean into the wind,
tack to larboard,
head for the Doldrums
and the wide Sargasso Sea.
Lean into the rain,
fold your umbrella;
splash through the puddles
on your way home, to me.
Lean into the fire,
dry your skin slowly;
lie on the hearthrug
just learning how to be.

Against The Wind.

This poem reminds me of the song 'Against The Wind' by Bob Seger. Such is life as you grow older. Great Poem!

Three neat verses of good
Three neat verses of good advice that fit together extremely well.
The drawing impressed too. I never even managed to draw unemployment benefit.
