is that the message of his heart,
or just the next shirt in the stack?
a headline of his views?
or statement to amuse,
or has he by now forgotten what’s there,
or really doesn’t care? –
after all
whatever the words
maybe he feels it's
just so cool a thing to wear!

The ambiguity of messages
The ambiguity of messages printed on t-shirts. Perhaps we too readily make assumptions and judge a book by its cover. It's right to keep an open mind but we can't help judging.
