who made me?”

“Another tree 
made apples,

fell
to the ground –
and I’d begun,
for it grew
to be
me!”

‘But which came first –
an apple or a tree?’
“Well, there you have
the riddle, you see.”

“But we know He
made the first apple tree
able to grow apples
continually!”

Oh, it does fall, but I'm not sure if it asks the question before or after!

Genesis 1:11-13 implies the vegetation, including trees, were made with seed/fruit, like Adam was made fully grown up! Rh

If Darwin had lived now he'd realise that the mechanisms he hoped might be discovered haven't been and and new discoveries eg sort tissues in dinosaurs fossils and increasing awareness of the intricacy of the chemistry of life and its complex organisation, makes his theory even less likely, and maybe he wouldn't have proposed it! Rh
