Free choice from the shelves:
beauty or pain and torment?
Which stands out
within these four walls?
Nothing self-inflicted,
just a generated sentiment
of a prevailing ubiquity.
Will it ever change?
Sliding downhill,
the thought is alien.
All so desolate.
a speedy departure
so as not
prolong
the pain.
Would it be beauty has
to be unravelled yet again;
flower by flower,
leaf by leaf,
note by note?
A resonance, surely a feast for mortals
and Gods alike.
We are truly destined for more,
as memory wets
the appetite
and fresh Spring air
fills the lungs.

Dear Pia,
you portray in this poem, all the feelings that we
get on a regular basis, I also appreciate the ending,
because it's so true, the only fear is fear itself,
which is all in the mind. I think I'm going in the
right direction with this? Please put me right if
I'm not.
Jenny.

It certainly is flowing, Pia. You are still on that roll, most certainly;-)
Jennifer has hit the nail on the head with her comment, and I totally agree.
