Living Dead Or Dead Alive

I could have died so easily  just the other night

but instead I just woke up and I was feeling all right ..

Imagine being dead and you still think you’re alive

and you wonder how on earth you managed to survive .

Imagine looking down at yourself there on a  bed

 and there’s this doctor confirming  you’re already dead .

so you meet the good Lord who tells you it not your time ,

then you open up your eyes and your breathing’s just  fine .

Then you try  to tell people how you died and came back

and how you met the good Lord after your heart attack

but it wasn’t your time and yet you wish that it was

as you’ve seen a place and been where no living man does   .

Its like you’re part of living and the walking dead

and the same thoughts keep on running around in your head.

We never know we’re living until the day we die

and then as we go its neither hello or goodbye .
